The military required a large number of quick-deploy antennas – 61 in all – and turned to Challenger Communications to get the job done. Challenger provided the military with a light-weight mobile solution, in the form of 1.0 m, 6-piece antennas, destined for an undisclosed military application and location.

In the first six months, the order called for 17 antennas. Challenger supplied these, then continued to fulfill the order by request. These custom-manufactured antennas were delivered in custom military colors, as requested.
